Judge:Peter Espley from Suffolk. The trophy final is hosted by Melbourn and District PC, usually during March at Foxton Village Hall. In this first round we are hosting Shillington and District Camera Club, from Barton-Le-Clay, Bedfordshire.
Inter-club PDI knock-out competition

The Melbourn Trophy (MT) started in 1973 as an inter-club knockout 35mm slide competition between 16 local clubs. It became a Projected Digital Image competition in 2008 due to the increasing use of digital cameras over 35mm film.
Following a review in 2015, the MT was relaunched to include 8 participating clubs. The trophy final is hosted by Melbourn and District PC, usually during March (see club programme for actual date), at Foxton Village Hall. The annual winning club is presented with the Melbourn Shield.

Doors will open at 6pm to allow time for clubs to exhibit their print portfolios
Refreshments will be available from 6pm
The PDI Trophy Competition will start at 7.30pm
There will be a break halfway through the PDI competition for refreshments and print portfolio judging
There will be both a winning club print portfolio and best individual print
The Melbourn Trophy will be awarded to the highest scoring club after the PDI judging
