We often forget that some of our common garden birds are as brightly coloured as many tropical species. This Great Tit was waiting its turn for space on a nearby feeder, and the perch was perfectly situated to allow for enough separation from the bushes behind to give a lovely creamy out-of-focus background to the shot.
