20 Score - Experienced Group

Taken in July last year in our garden. There are many species of hoverfly present in the UK but this is perhaps the most attractive. The great attraction of hoverflies is that they hover and so stay reasonably still enough to get close up and focus the camera.

Canon EOS 7D with Canon EFS 60mm f/2.8 macro lens at 1/250 sec at f/2.8. Taken with flash using my home-made Pringles Tube flash diffuser.
