‘The Art of Bird Photography’

There is a change to the advertised programme for 7 March. Due to illness George McCarthy FRPS will not be joining us. We are instead going to be treated to a new presentation from Richard Revels FRPS.

Richard has been taking natural history photographs for over 50 years. The total number of nature pictures in his library numbers many tens of thousands. Over the years these have been published in many magazines and books, and used as cards and in calendars. Richard currently serves on the RPS Natural History Panel.

Richard will be presenting an overview of his work entitled ‘Highlights from my first 50 years of photographing Nature’. This presentation includes many of his favourite nature pictures from his career in photographing nature, including Birds & Insects in flight, Brown Hares boxing, Adder & Grass snakes, rare Orchids & other Flora, Butterflies, Moth and other creatures and plants. A mixed bag of Richard’s favourite wildlife.
