Photography Pictorialism from the late 19th Century to the early 20th Century
Tony Bramley FRPS will present an exploration of the beginnings of photography as art, known as Pictorialism.
Tony will be outlining the emergence of the movement and how it changed the voice of the amateur photographer. Tony will demonstrate how with digital post-processing we can still emulate this style of photography. This presentation contains artistic nude studies.
Tony has been a photographer for over 20 years and is the owner of Storm Photography based in Marks Tey, Nr Colchester in Essex. Work photography includes weddings, portraits and commercial photography. Tony is also proficient in all post production software and printing techniques. Tony is also a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society. Additionally, he works as an abstract artist in a process derived from the Modern art movement of Suprematism.
