The East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies (EAF) Audio-Visual Trophy Championship is taking place on Sunday 5th October 2025 at Foxton Village Hall...

The day commences at 9.45am and runs all day, typically finishing approx. 10pm. It's a fantastic day of entertainment, with each slideshow running for a maximum of 12 minutes and providing a wonderful chance to see high quality photography and AV skills on display, covering a wide variety of topics.

Our very own Ian Johnson, SCC's resident AV club enthusiast will be there - do ask him at the club Welcome Night for more information about the day.

Entries will be assessed by two top AV judges, Ian Bateman and Clive Tanner. Rules and further details are available on the EAF website at www.eaf.org.uk

Comments

We are extremely lucky to have this excellent event on our doorstep and at a decent venue..

As the blurb says, I will be entering two 11.59 minute sequences "Learning to fly" and "The Battle of Hill Rise" (unless one gets culled due to the ever increasing interest in AV). Entrants are advised to keep their sequence titles as non-descript as possible to keep everyone guessing what the sequence is all about. One of my sequences doesnt even have any windmills in it!

Any support from club members would be most welecomed (you dont need to enter a sequence to attend and it may even inspire you for 2026)
