Swavesey has found success in this year's regionally contested EAF exhibition with five images - two colour prints and three projected digital images (PDIs)...

Congratulations to Simon Shore, whose image capturing a moment of pair bonding between two Northern Gannets was selected for the print exhibition, while he also had two PDIs selected for the digital exhibition, which will run on a screen alongside the physical display in the venue - his "Rufous Tailed Hummingbird, Costa Rica" and "Sunrise at the Mesa Arch", the latter taken on his travels in Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA.

Not far away (in American terms) was the site of Andy Dearn's successful image, "Antelope Canyon", in Northern Arizona, near the Utah border. Also scoring 12, Andy's was a PDI and will feature with Simon's two digital images on the exhibition screen.

Finally, Dona McCullagh's "Portrait of a White Horse" was captured closer to home, in Dry Drayton, and also scored 12 (out of a possible 15), and was the second of Swavesey's two images to make it into the print exhibition.

The statistics for 2026 have not yet been released, but in 2025, a total of 1,750 images were entered by over 250 members from 29 clubs from across the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies, and of those 198 were selected for the print exhibition and 259 were selected for digital projection.
