Casmerodias albus

This bird was on the edge of a nesting colony in some wet woodland near Orlando Florida. I chose this bird because it was on the edge of the colony and could be photographed without any twigs obscuring it.

Canon 40D fitted with an EF70-200mm lens set to 70m. Exposure 1/320 @ f5.6 ISO 640.
