Golden Hour at Fossalar Waterfall, Southeast Iceland (#53)

After a 3 hour flight and towards the end of a 6 hour drive, it was great to find this roadside waterfall literally moments before sunset. The sun had already put the foreground into shadow but the central rocks were still lit. Settings of ISO 50 and f/22 meant that the resulting shutter speed of 0.5 sec gave a pleasing sense of motion. Also pleasing was the fact that the 0.5 sec handheld image was sharp.
