Golden Hour On a Stormy Day At Vik Beach, Southern Iceland (#56)

According to legend the Reynisdrangar off Vik Beach are three trolls that were turned to stone when caught out at sunrise. On this afternoon we endured tripod-toppling high winds, driving rain and hail. However the gear and people survived and we were rewarded by some spectacular light as the sun started to set. Medium telephoto (234 mm) with a slow shutter speed (1/5 sec) smoothed out the waves but meant that camera movement spoilt quite a few images.
